What brand of permanent markers is the best?

I'm a young artist, and I've recently discovered that permanent marker art can be really fun and creative. However, the markers I've been using recently quickly dry, and their tip is rarely strong enough. (it often breaks)

9. I love sharpie and speedball for my black and whites prismacolor for all else... above all, Bic pens are great for illlustration but are not very permanent.
10. Defnitely a shapie but if you aren't satisfied with a sharpie I'd prefer a Marks-a-Lot marker 2nd.
11. Sharpie. Best second choice would be Staedtler, LUMOCOLOR permanent

13. regular black permanent markers? Sharpies, definitely. If you are talking about colored markers, then Prismacolor markers are the best.
14. Prismacolor markers come in a large variety of colors, and can be blended together in much the same way as their colored pencils can. Another benefit is that they come with dual tips, both fine and bold.
15. It depends upon what surface youre writing on. If youre useing paper any permanant marker will work. On plastic it has to be quick drying. Sharpies are my personal favorite but i use many other brands to achieve different shades and textures.
