Permanent Markers

What are some of the ingredients in Sharpie permanent markers that could cause allergic reactions?

I want to know if there is much difference in chemicals between the sharpie permanent markers and the sharpie highlighters. if you could give URLs and the ingredients that would be great. thank you

2. The inks are based on propanol, butanol & diacetone. These industrial chemical dyes & preservatives, such as parabans, they use in inks & cosmetics are really lethal & linked to allergies as well as problems for boys if their mothers are exposed to too much while pregnant so if you're sensative to these things it's best to avoid them. I'm allergic to the preservatives in cortisone for my arthritis. Who'd have thought the preservatives they use in products designed to help us are deadly?
