Permanent Markers

What are the best permanent markers for shiny, dark surfaces?

I'm looking to draw up a design on a case for my phone which is a shiny dark surface and wanted to know what the best type of markers would be for the job? I already have white but I want to use some strong colours that will show nicely on black and want it to be permanent. I was planning on finishing with a clear topcoat to seal in the design. Any help or advice would be great, Thanks =)

1. Unless you have a white or light background no marker will shoe up at all they will all look dark and dinghy. If you wanted to you could do a light sanding to the area you want to paint then paint a white surface for a under coat other wise you are wasting you time because whatever you use will not show up at all.
