i believe that i have exactly 12, both at home and here at work. they sure are handy for lots of things!!!

One in every color.
3 in my desk drawer. One of them is one of those real big ones.
In art school, I used them for comps and had 25 shades of gray and 30 or so colors, Now... maybe 5 and 4 of them are probably dried out.
right now only about 5 or 6; i gave most of them away. i would like to have a lot, all different colours, and several of each, for when one goes dry.
I have about 75 to about 100 separate colors of permanent art markers (although some are fine point duplicate shades of broad tips) and about as many water soluable colors. I use just about every one of them at some point and replace the ones I use up. I admit to using them less frequently as I depend more and more on my digital tools.
