What is the safest marker to use on a whiteboard?

Expos are very smelly and I feel like they just can't be good to inhale for hours at a time. I'm not so much worried about the actual smell as i am the chemicals i'm inhaling. Are there known completely safe ones out there? Also I have no idea why this is under maintenance & repairs.
