Permanent Markers

how can I get magic marker off the side of our stove?

my daughter got a hold of a marker and marked all over the side of the oven and I am having troubles getting off. please help!

1. Did you try a Mr. Clean Magic eraser? They really work.
2. Try a mister clean magic eraser. They are inexpensive and work great. I hope this helps! Good luck!
3. Hair spray removes ink, it might remove magic marker. Also finger nail polish remover.
4. Try a disinfectant areosol spray like they use in hospitals. I use this at work when ppl mark on the bathroom walls. Takes it right off. Mr. Clean magic eraser may work also. Linda
5. With kids in the house you need to go to www. melaleuca.com. They have lots of products that will help you do the jobs in a safe and non toxic way and cheaper than the stores. The one products that you need to get permanent marker up is sol-u-mel. A bottle of this is 8.99 and it will make 2 24 oz bottles. my 3 yr old got mad at me one dat and took a black permenent marker to my wooden cabinets, my stove, fridge, dishwasher, floor, tableand walls. I nearly lost it!!! I rememebred this stuff under the sink and went and got it. I wasn't thinking it would do the job because this WAS "permanent"marker, but it got every bit of it up, and I didn't even have to scrub!! I sprayed and it spread. lol You have to have it if you have kids. I have also gotten gum out of carpet with this, hot chocolate out of the carpet, mud out of my van marker off her skin, mold off the wall, ect it is a do all product. Good luck!!!
