Whiteboard?

What is the best way to remove non white board marker from a white board? My father wrote on the whiteboard with a non white board marker and my cousins with crayon annyone have any suggestions on how to remove the unwanted marks?

1. mmm...comet or one of thosemagic erasers from mr.clean i get at dollar general.
2. Try alchohol
3. try rubbing alcohol , then paint thinner, then acetone/ nail polish remover, but do small test spot first, in case those melt or damage white board, or if you have any printer ink cleaner, try that, for crayon , try hot water and mr clean type solvent/ cleaner, don't recommend gasoline, also maybe try glycerin and sponge, ..
