Does dry cleaning remove permanent marker stains?

I got sharpie marker on my jordan hat and I want to get it removed? It's also pretty dirty and it says that it can only be dry cleaned. Can they remove sharpie permanent marker stains? Btw do you also know how much the approximate cost is? Thanks a lot!

1. When you take the hat to the dry cleaners they will be able to tell you if they can get the ink out or not. They will let you know before they even clean it. The charge to get it cleaned should not be that much. I had a winter coat dry cleaned for $7.00 where I live and your hat is smaller then the winter coat so I am figuring that it should be less then $7.00.
2. If you get to the mark soon enough i can usually get it out with hand sanatizer. I work in clothing retail and when we get ball point pen on stuff we use hand sanatizer and it comes right up, also works on walls. I have gotten felt tip pen out of stuff as well but usually immedietly after marking the clothing. Beware not to spread the marker with sanitizer if its on white I would be careful . Good luck.
