Does the guy in the UPS whiteboard commercial really draw on the whiteboard? I always thought he did until I saw one where he apparently moved a lever that he drew. That makes me question the whole thing.

Can anybody stand the guy in the UPS whiteboard commercial? I find him so annoying that I would actively try to use USPS or Fedex if at all possible - and advertising doesn't usually affect me that strongly one way or the other. Who are they trying to appeal to? I see the commercials a lot during NFL but the typical NFL demographic can't like that guy, can they?

Best way to clean a whiteboard? Our work whiteboard uses a special liner tape to section off certain information. Over time, it has built up a mess of dry erase whiteboard marker. Hanging up a porcelain whiteboard with steel back and aluminum frame? Hi, we ordered a 4'x3' whiteboard that weighs approximately 25lbs. The problem is that it didn't come with any hanging hardware and we're having a terrible time putting it on the wall. So far, we've tried attaching metal brackets to the aluminum frame using a metal/metal epoxy with a high enough rating that it should have been more than able to support the weight of the whiteboard. Unfortunately, as soon as we put the brackets over the hooks in the wall, the brackets ripped right off. The biggest problem this presents is the metal backing that we can't screw, drill, or hammer into. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Whiteboard alternative??? I need to find an alternative to using a whiteboard for one of the walls in my apartment's living room, the wall is about 10' x 12' i think. Its not necessary to fill up the whole wall, even tho it would be awesome, but i need to fill up about 60-75% of the wall. How to estimate angles correctly? At my school, in maths, we have this task. An angle is generated on the computer and projected onto the class whiteboard and then we have to guess the angle. Is it normal to have trouble focusing? Like, if you've been looking at something up close for a bit, is it normal for things to be a bit fuzzy when you look up? Not so fuzzy that you can't see, just a little funny-looking, and possibly not being able to see details. (Such as, if I look up from a book, or the computer, and can't read a digital clock about 15 feet away that would normally be quite clear.) My mom said that this was normal, what do you think? Another problem I've had is, occasionally, looking up from my notes in school to find the writing on the whiteboard blurry, but only things that were written in a certain color of marker. I'm probably just overreacting about something that's totally normal, but it kind of bugs me.

Why does the green Expo dry erase marker smell different than other colors when applied to a whiteboard? I'm a science teacher in Martinsville, VA. There's a whiteboard in my classroom on which I use Sanford Expo dry erase markers - black, blue, red, and green. It's become very apparent that, while the green marker itself smells much like the others, when applied to the whiteboard, a fairly unpleasant odor is produced. I speculate that a unique reaction is taking place between some chemical(s) and either the board itself or chemical build-up associated with repeated use. While the green marker has been banned from any future role in classroom activities, my students and I are interested in learning what causes this phenomena. Have you ever heard anything like this before? And, do you have any advice for me as I investigate the matter? Differences in composition between the different-colored markers would be a great start. Problems when viewing a webpage? Why is it that when I view a particular website (only happens with Bebo), nothing on it shows up apart from text. I mean no pictures show up, the skins don't show up, any whiteboard drawings don't show, "emoticons" don't show. Just black text on a white background. :/ I don't know why it's doing this.
